This was a guitar that was hand crafted by Pete Kiernan of the Smoke Daddys way back when in shop class. The guitar was originally painted a fugly kind of mustardy shade & I don't think it was ever polished out so it was flat, drab & chalky. Pete wanted to have it refinned so he could hang it up in his home for the sentimental value. Undecided as to color, Pete & his fiance happened to be looking at my PT Cruiser while discussing it & Tina said "Let's do it that color!"..It was done in acrylic lacquer & while technically termed Cranberry Pearl, I just call it purple...
