Flying V originally was a cherry laminate. The client had been given the guitar & he was just never knocked out by the look. He opted for a totally different persona with with a vibrant & showy turquoise paired with a white pearl guard & truss rod cover. It also underwent a change of electronics & tuning machines, etc. Basically a total overhaul.
