This 1962 Jazz Bass is a recently completed project. The body was refinished at some point through the years with a natural/amber tone transparent look. I stripped the finish & I took it back to the original 3 tone burst pattern in nitro lacquer. The neck is all original as it had never been refinished so that was obviously left just as is! The new finish on the body had to be appropriately "aged" & given a patina that matched the look of the neck. These jobs are fast becoming my favorite type to do as I love to try to bring them back their original beauty..
